focus ghost

FIGMA, FIGMA MAKE, HTML, CSS, GOOGLE GEMINI, JAVASCRIPT, BLAZEFACE, 2026

For the Google Build with AI Hackathon, our team of four members created FocusGhost, an ambient desktop companion that visualizes focus quality in real time. It operates through two simple modes: Passive Mode and Focus Mode. As a whole, we designed FocusGhost to be a detailed, yet easy-to-navigate system that makes attention visible without interrupting work, through a dashboard that highlights past focus sessions with insights, such as typing speed, as well as whether the user is focusing on the screen through an eye tracker. The experience is built to quietly track behavior and surface insights only when needed. My main role was to establish the design system and to prototype all of the necessary visual components of the app.

grubhub: app redesign

FIGMA, 2026

One of Product Space’s mock projects included a mid-fidelity wireframe redesign for the UI of GrubHub’s app, specifically for ordering food on Washington University’s on-campus dining experience. My major focus points included narrowing down the color palette from five main colors to two main colors, including Nutrition Facts in consideration of students with allergies, and fixing the unbalanced spacing. Additionally, I implied changes to GrubHub’s inconsistent recommendations of recent orders, and adding a location-based search system for campus restaurants.

book to website: “super normal”

FIGMA, 2025

A personal design project that renders Naoto Fukasawa and Jasper Morrison's "Super Normal" collection and book into a website format. Following the concept of the book itself, I followed simplistic and seemingly normal design choices, to mimic the art of normal objects, that blend seamlessly with each other. The website contains all of the text found within the original book and implements the drawings within the original index.
